You may think it is difficult to replace a laptop screen but it isn't. Most of our clients have replaced their laptop screens in less than 20 minutes some in only 10. There are only two wires that attach to most modern laptop screens these are an inverter cable from the bottom right that is connected to a high power inverter or transformer that "lights" the laptop screen and a signal or data cable that comes out of the base of the laptop and runs up to a connector at the back of the laptop screen. These laptop screen connectors are 20 or 30 pin, the latter being the most current type.
The job involves removing the laptops screen bezel which is the plastic frame around the outside of the screen, once the screws have been removed and the bezel removed the job is actually very simple. Screws in the left hand side of the laptop screen and right hand side of the laptop screens hold the screen in place, once these screws are removed the laptop screen will fall out of its frame and the two cables can be disconnected.
The fitting of the new laptop screen is completely the reverse of the removal. Easy.
